For the repair of a window, you hire a local tradesman. The tradesman inspects the damage and quotes your company 500 Fr., including VAT. The tradesman covers the Vemente fee.

Vemente fee = 500Fr. * 2.8% = 14Fr.

Total amount seller receives = 500Fr. – 14Fr. = 486Fr.
Online-shop order
The user needs an electronic component from an online-shop. The product costs 40Fr. and an additional 8Fr. for shipping.
Total cost of Transaction = 48Fr.
Vemente Fee = 5Fr. (Transaction amount lower than 50CHF)
Total amount paid by buyer = 48Fr. + 5Fr. = 53Fr.
Total amount seller receives = 48Fr.
Oversees wire-transfer
The development department wants to order samples from a manufacturer in asia. The sample cost including shipping is 200USD. The bank of the manufacturer is located in Hong kong. The manufacturer agrees to pay the SWIFT and Vemente fee.
Total cost in quote = 200USD
Exchange rate = 1$ / 0.9Fr. (example)
Total cost in CHF = 180Fr.
Vemente fee = 180Fr. * 2.8% = 5.04Fr.
SWIFT Transaction fee = 5Fr.
Total amount paid by buyer = 180Fr.
Total amount seller receives = 188.96$
